Everybody, Everybody

Come on guys. It seems that no one has anything to say. What? That's just not like you all. You all are very talkative and active. What it this? We started this blog because we thought it would be fun to share experiences and thoughts. Now is the time to do so. If you think the statement of, " I just don't have time," makes sense. Your wrong! It won't take long I promise. You are all smart and thoughtful. Lets go!

Answer one:
thoughts on spirituality:

You have someone sitting in front of you. A newer Christian or an old friend. Doesn't matter just pick the one you would want to relate to. If they ask this," What do I do to get closer to God?" What would you say? How would you handle that? Use verses, experiences, books, or even so ideas that you may have.

or
Thoughts on theology:

The Nicene Creed is one of the foundational documents in the Church today. It was created by a group of Cardinals in council when heresy started to become a problem for the early Catholic church. It was formed shortly after a man made a doctrine in the early 4th century denied, Jesus, His co-equal dignity and co-eternal existence to God. This heresy was started by Arius, and became known as Araimism. The Nicene Creed was then form at the Council of Nicene in 325 to state to the church what early Catholism was. It also dominated the Protestant movement in Europe that started in the 1300's. If you want to read more: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/11049a.htm or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicene_Creed

What do you think about this old document? Didn't be to shallow! Think about it for a while before answering.
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, light from light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father [and the Son],
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

I will post my thoughts
later in the week. On both questions. There could be some great ideas
to come out. We just need to do it?
