I'm Sad That I'm Crying....

...Umm... Well, this is a draft that has been sitting around for a while so I thought that I might as well just post it... enjoy.

For those of you that were at Youth Convention, you know that Tim's waking words were my favorite thing to say last weekend. For those of you that weren't there, I'm sorry that you were gone. You missed out on a great weekend. I had some awesome fellowship with my friends and family.
Jessie came down with the Little Falls AoG and hooked up with us just like she did last year. Jessie is really cool, she has become the woman of Christ that she was not while she was living in Duluth. As sad as it is, I'm glad she moved to Little Falls to right her life. Jessie always encourages me and reminds me what is important when I am with her. She's great.
My Friend Marc came to MYC this year. He is a great but shy guy. He said he made some great new friends and I believe it may have helped him come out of his shell.

This is wonderful. People that want to post once more. I would just like to say that I love the remember password always function. That means I don't have to remember the password that I have forgotten.
Anyway, now that I got that out of the way. The thing I like about Pastor Kyle and Kari is the fact that they want to take us somewhere we're never been. Their dreams and visions for the youth group go way beyond their Wednesday serves, or the Sunday school. They hope to see us all becoming as close of friends as we can. Not that we aren't good friends now. Just that They want to see friendship flourish under them.
O, and their willing to show us all their pictures that they aren't so fund of. I go to see some the other day. Their house where they grow up and some baby pictures. I loved it because I am visual. I need to see things.

I believe that you should say some stuff and post it. Yah! I really don't think to much it gets in the way sometimes. Write first think later. That's what my teachers have said. write from the heart then revise it.

Playing Favourites

G'day ol boys! I do say it has been a while.

So... We haven't posted in a long time. SO I guess that I am going to post again!

If you had to pick one favourite thing about Pastor Kyle (or Kari I guess) what would it be?

For me it would be Pastor Kyle's exuberant outreaching friendliness. I really love how he is so gung ho to talk to kids. Some of you would say thats his job... But really it isn't anymore his job than it is yours! Well, thats just a short blurb to get started all over again...

Talk to you soon...

I believe my favorite thing about Pastor Kyle and Kari is the fact that they are always very excited to hang out with us. They come to coke-night, they randomly invite us over to thier house and they really want to get to know us. And that has made all the difference. (fifty points to whoever can tell me what poem that last line was from) I'm glad that Pastor Kyle isn't just all about Wed. night or Sun. morning.

Heaven in Your Eyes

Well, I don't know what I'd really say. I was thinking about this question before I acually read what you wrote, Z, and I discovered that I have the same answer as you. Personally prayer is what always makes me feel closer to God. To just sit and talk to Him and acually listen to what He has to say.

Thoughts question #1

Ok so here it is.

If someone came up to me and ask how to get closer to God. I would say......

It's all about your personal prayer time. If your not doing one now you need to start. It's one of the most intimate times I have with God. It's so freeing. There is no one around to distract or pull your attention. Your free to worship God in ways that seems so personal.
The key to getting closer to God in prayer. Jesus spent time in prayer all the time. In a garden or even on a high mountain, he prayed. The Holy spirit came upon an assemble that was praying. Whole nation of Israel fasted and prayed.

Getting the things that "get" in the way should be on the top of your priority list. Your person prayer time in your room should be unimpeded by things or people. Just empty out all the things that you have to God. Get others away from you. It's your time with God. Just like the time you want to spend with someone you love. You should want to have this time everyday. Letting the world get in the way of you and God should just not be aloud! The things that you carry with you can be just enough a gap to feel like your not getting everything you could be.

You don't have to carry the burdens that the world puts on you. You can give them to God and He will save you. He may not free you of the things that are happening, but He will always be there for you. Giving everything to God is the only way to live in this world. I could not imagine what I would do if I could not take off the burdens of the world. I wouldn't be alive more then likely. There is just such a freedom at God's feet.

Romans 12:12 "rejoice and exalt in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer."
And finial I think that 1st Thessalonian puts it very well. It is so simple but carries the importance of prayer to our lives. That it has an affect here in the world and in Spirit. It simple says, "Be unceasing in Prayer."
